Barcelona, an internationally renowned city for its cutting-edge cocktail scene, is celebrating the inaugural Brandy de Jerez Cocktail Week from November 20 to 30, 2025. This 10-day event aims to highlight the growing connection between Brandy de Jerez and premium mixology, reinforcing its presence in the city’s most influential cocktail bars.
Brandy de Jerez Cocktail Week: A New Chapter in Barcelona
Following two successful editions in Madrid, the Brandy de Jerez Cocktail Week makes its debut in Barcelona. The city, known for its creative bartenders and technical excellence, provides an ideal backdrop for this celebration. Brandy de Jerez has already become a staple in many of Barcelona’s top bars, valued by leading professionals for its rich character and versatility.
During the event, several of Barcelona’s most influential cocktail establishments will feature original Brandy de Jerez creations. These offerings will range from innovative twists on classic cocktails to avant-garde concoctions, each designed to demonstrate the spirit’s potential as a high-end cocktail ingredient.
The Essence of Brandy de Jerez: Wine Spirit, Cocktail Soul
Brandy de Jerez is crafted from select wines and aged in traditional Sherry Casks, the same barrels that impart character to Sherry Wines. This unique process results in an exceptionally complex and elegant spirit that seamlessly integrates into sophisticated cocktails. Its authentic origin and expressive profile have made it an increasingly popular ingredient in premium bars across Barcelona and other major cities. The Cocktail Week aims to spotlight this trend, fostering dialogue between tradition and innovation in mixology.
